My name is Lori Ann and I am a self taught artist from British Columbia, Canada. I have been painting, drawing and creating for about 35 years. Commissions and special requests are welcome and if you see something on my site that has a price, you can buy it!

My fine art mediums are acrylic paint, graphite and watercolor. My subject matter is wide and varied and I work from a combination of photos and my imagination. The paintings are done on handmade wooden panels that I cut and assemble in my work shop. If you would like to have a specific size painting that would fit in a special area of your home, I can do that for you. The panels have painted edges and require no extra framing. I paint on canvas as well and some of those pieces then get framed in old reclaimed barn board. Both styles are equipped with hanging devices and are ready to hang on your wall. For a more functional and unique painting I can even add a clock to your special orders.
Jewelry is my most recent artistic passion. I can spend hours on end making unique handcrafted rings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings and more! Each of the pieces that I fashion is a one of a kind. Being creative and spontaneous is fun for me and great for you because you’ll know that at your next dinner party you won’t see the same necklace or ring on someone else! I use coated non-tarnish silver or brass “Artistic Wire” to make the jewelry.
I make all of my ear hooks without the use of a jig and many come with a special ’secure clip’ to prevent your earring from slipping out of the ear. A lot of my time is taken searching for the unique and special beads. I especially love it when I find beautiful vintage jewelry to take apart. Then I can’t wait to get into my studio to create something new and timeless with a story and history behind each and every piece.
